Katy Stehr is currently a PhD student in the Archaeology Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Research Interests:

• The relationship between humans (Homo sapiens) and dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) over time and space.
• How the relationship between humans and dogs may have shifted during and after the Neolithic as a response to the domestication of other species.
• Interactions between humans, animals, and the environment, especially in regards to domesticated species.
